Padma's stare frightened the viewers a lot but it was good that Mohan and Kalyani's marriage took place without any problem but I am afraid that Kalyani will suffer a lot in the hands of Padma as that lady was ferocious while challenging Kalyani's mother.

Very fast episode. Kumaran finished the marriage itself in a single episode without dragging more. Padma's guru is tamizh's mother. But one big difference here is Kalyaani is not thulasi. We have seen the difference, by the way kalyaani served water to Padma instead of standing and crying there. Same way, I think, Kalyaani will handle padma very effectively. There may be interesting episodes showing the confrontations between padma and kalyaani. I say, interesting because, it will not be the same as the confrontations between thulasi and bajaari. This will be totally different due to the maturity and courageous nature of kalyaani.
Radha - you asked about the girl who is taking maangalyam for aasirvaatham to padma. Now, kumaran has introduced this beautiful girl, as kalyaani's sister. Pavithra is also growing and becoming more beautiful with every episode.
I never expected Babu to come to this marriage. when I saw pavithra and babu together walking for the lunch hall, I imagined them for one minute, as pair.
Padmavinudaiya "muraippu" is just for dragging the story further.She could have shown as whole heartedly accepting the marriage for the sake of Mohan. But, as I told, Kalyaani will win over padma or at the worst, they may move out of the house. Certainly kalyaani will not be crying secretly like thulasi.

A comparison between tamil,thulasi,bajaari trio Versus mohan,kalyaani, padma (bajaari 2) trio.

1)bajaari, vaayai thirandhale, thulasi azha aarambithu viduvaal. I don't think Kalyaani will do that. Kalyaani, nichayamaaga, padma pesuvathai kettu azha maataal. oru velai edhirthu argument pannalaam alladhu padmavai saamarthiyamaaga handle pannalaam.

2)tamil, avan ammavai porutha varai oru ammaanji. atleast nowadays he is supporting thulasi and protesting to bajaari. But even then, he don't have the courage to ask her go out of the house or move away from her. He thinks, it is his duty to take care of her, whatever be her behavior. If Mohan is aware that kalyaani is being harassed by padma, Mohan will immediately leave the house or fight with her and protect kalyaani. So, padma may follow bajaari formula, acting cool in front of Mohan and torture kalyaani on his back. But that will be difficult with MM and Pavithra also around. Also kalyaani will not keep quiet and receive padma's torture lying low or crying. In the case of thulasi, there was nobody else to support her other than tamil. But in the case of kalyaani, MM and Pavithra are also there.

3)Here also I feel MM may be a culprit. (i mean sothappal party). He may advise kalyaani, for the interest of the family as a whole, don't talk against padma and ask kalyaani to tolerate her bad behavior. Because MM will be worried about family expenditure, if Mohan goes for "thanikudithanam"

I never expected Mohan and Kalyani's wedding to happen this fast. I think the director is doing all this because Padma is ready to start her fights with Kalyani. Would rather see the main track than seeing Kalyani in tears.

Really I didn't expect Mohan-Kalyani engagement and marriage in a single episode. I think to concentrate on Lavanya's delivery and Prabha issues, director finished Mohan-Kalyani marriage track early.

Deepak has said in an interview, he was in outdoor shooting on 19 & 20th December for Thendral and he returned to chennai on 21st. Now all characters are in chennai except charu family. Then why outdoor shooting?

Hi Friends, I have stopped watching Thendral for few months, due to childbirth. the last episode I watched was when Bhuvana was cheating all that she had cancer. Could anyone plssssss tell me a short story on what happened after that? Hows TT pair now? then deepa,kalyani,sundari,laxman,charu,gw, lavanya & thulasi family?

now that kalyani-mohan are married, i shall unravel the suspense..how i was certain that their marriage would happen.

1.true lovers eppaadu pattalum onnu seruvanga,seranum.true love should end up in marriage that is my belief.i saw how determined mohan was in getting married to kalyani.he was firm in his love.except the stupid decision he took to end his life,he was very much attached to kalyani.that is true love so i wanted him to win his love.antha nalla ennathula,avan aasapatta ponnu avanuku kedaikanumnu avanga kalyanam nadakanumnu nenacheyn,athumathiriye nadanthidichu;-p

2.intha directors eppadi yosipanganu namakku teriyatha?? kumaren already showed a love failure, kanagu loosing deepa. again if he shows a similar plot immediately, he will receive chappal garlands from viewers. so as a gesture of goodwill, mohan-kalyani wedding was the best move.

3.if a lesson has to be taught to mohan's mother, kalyani is the best person. if mohan married a richer girl then can't get hold of his mom.she will be floating in air and become even more strong and arrogant.to avoid that,poonaiku mani kattrathukum to move the story further, mohan-kalyani marriage had to happen.

more problems awaiting kalyani by her in-laws just as how thulasi faces problems by her mother-in-law. but the difference is unlike oomakottan thulasi, kalyani is bold and also has her husband's support so somehow she will survive in her husband's house, not to worry...

What I commented about Pavithra & Babu is just my "at the moment" snap thinking. Even it may be outside "thendral" story. only in thendral, pavithra is a school going girl and Babu is a widower. Outside they are two different individuals. Just it splashed in my mind, that they look like a good "jodi". Thats all.
