its proved today that sudha is not selfish...she is a good lady who is tough...but she doesnt trust tulasi as she knows that tulasi has no backbone and will drop sudha and puvi like a hot potato once her life is fixed with tamil and bazaari...sudha's mentality is revealed...although she pities tulasi and is not evil and does not want to think evil of tulasi, she feels that by helping tulasi, she will be in trouble, as she she feels tulasi does not have the conviction to live a bold life.

And I feel she is right. Its best not to take sides...she is practical. although we can help, but not to take sides. today, they will fight, tomorrow they will unite. I like her attitude in life.

Good epi. Sudha is the only person who can face GW boldly. She wants to stay away from this problem but still supports Thulasi because she is right. Sudha scene with Lavanya was excellent. I don't understand why thulasi did not reveal the truth in front of the inspector. may be she wanted to protect her mother in law in front of the police inspector . atleast she has decided to reveal it to puvi and MM. And the whole story has turned into a positive direction. Kumaran is moving the story like a roller coaster ride for us. one moment he is taking us to a dizzy height and the next moment taking us through a steep shallow valley. This is how the relationship between thulasi and tamil is moving manipulated by bajaari and charu.
Sudha has got the guts to call a spade as spade. Whatever she talked to lavanya perfectly makes sense. I wonder, how lavanya still supports her mother even after knowing all happenings through puvi. That means, her character has become a junior bajaari, after marriage. if she still do not realise her mistakes, she needs more punishment. She is not even bothered about the spoiled relationship between her family and her inlaws family due to the fight between bajaari and her mother in law. Without Tulasi withdrawing the case,Tamil and Tulasi could never come out of jail.Now its clear that GP is not going to support.He might house arrest Charu as well.There could be a possibility that Tulasi cant withdraw the case and bajaari and Tamil would be in jail for some years to make viewers happy..Meanwhile they will understand the goodness of Tulasi by living in jail..
I liked Sudha today.Hope they wont change Puvi or sudha.

Guys I think director is losing track. He will end up the same way as his other serial (Kolangal). Cops, goondas, politicians, hospital, and finally Tamil will be handicapped and Thulasi will take care. I think instead of bisecting the serial...we should give him suggestion. Here is my suggestion on how story can go...

Charu's video to be published and she ends in asylum. Tamil is ashamed and should be forgiven by Thulasi. However, this will end the story fast...

Other way is Charu gets married to Tamil and Thulasi quits him and does well in her career. Charu is blackmailed and loses everything and they are back to road....and her life starts getting miserable like T's... that way story will go on.

Thulasi made her decision afraid her mother in law will commit suicide. However her character transformation is great. She knows her husband is brainwashed but he still loves her. It was sad to see Thulasi cry but I felt happy that atleast she told about GW's activities to Puvi and MM which has helped her to gain their support once again and I feel that they will help TA and T to get united in future.

The worst of all is eventhough Puvi told to Lavanya that the mistake lies on their mother's part she was not ready to accept that but continued to support her so called mother and was also bent upon conveying to Charu about the problems which has happened in their family to turn the situation even more worse than before but she didn't even care that her life is at stake but was trying to cause problems to Thulasi which clearly shows how bad she is but Thank God! she was caught red handed by Sudha.

Puvi is such a nice guy who understood Thulasi's situation and was willing to support and help her which shows how good he is and I don't understand as to how come he became the son of an evil lady.

I can't understand Sudha's character. She is behaving good all of a sudden and the next moment she behaves selfishly . Moreover she adviced Lavanya in a right manner which I am sure our junior GW will not listen but will continue to follow her mother's advice and spoil her own life.

One good thing that happened in this episode is that, Sudha has come to know that Lavanya is also hand in glove with Charu and GW in spoiling Thulasi's life but will she help Thulasi in this situation, is a big question as she herself doesn't like our heroine because of her dumb behaviour.

viewers have different opinions about Sudha's character. What I have observed and gathered about Sudha's character as designed and presented by director kumaran is:
1)Sudha is not a self sacrificing one for the sake of others like what tamil and thulasi do. She is interested only about herself and her family and their welfare and prosperity.
2)She will be willing to help others, only if there will be a corresponding benefit for her.
3)she is very calculative financially, and not willing to spend any of her money for the sake of others. But at the same time, she does not go back on family responsibilities. Ex: when tamil was stabbed and in the hospital, she did not hesitate spending the money, without any expectation. when tamil and thulasi was stuck up with money lenders, they were willing to putup the money to help them out. even though it was done with the motive of using tamil in the shop, 6 lacs is a huge amount of money, just for taking help from tamil for the shop. both are not comparable. Tamil's services in the shop can never be equivalent to 6 lacs. Even now, lavanya's hospitalisation expenses are met by puvi and sudha only. There is no selfishness in this, she is doing her duty perfectly well.
4)she will never hesitate to call "a spade, a spade". she will not mince words like thulasi, in telling people on the face, their shortcomings. there is nothing hidden. sudha is not a backstabber, digging under somebody without their knowledge. charu, bajaari and lavanya madhiri, aduthavanga kudiyai kedukka, sudha, room pottu yosikka maataa. if somebody is not according to her expectations, she will ruthlessly move away from them. That is what she did, in the case of tamil and thulasi. Even now that is what she wants to do, in the case of lavanya and bajaari also.
This is what I have observed. There may be some inconsistencies here and there in sudha's character,but they are all framed by Kumaran, in that way.

one more point about sudha's character. she always want to stand on her own feet, want to take her own decisions and face all the problems face to face courageously. She wants thulasi also to do the same, instead of being meek, crying and mincing words.

So at last, it is good that Thulasi revealed the gist of her talk with Bajari in privacy to Puvi in presence of her father MM & the lawyer. And thus,
Puvi & Sudha are not angry with or against Thulasi but have a soft corner, although Sudha likes to be away from the muddled affairs of the four, Thulasi, Tamizh, Bajari & Lavanya & even the 5th Charu.
Even though Puvi wished that both Tamizh & his mom should suffer in jail for a couple of days for their hatred against Thulasi, she pleaded to him for bailing them out as they are just against her only & as excepting Puvi, no one else could help them. See how innocent & have the pardoning mentality of Thulasi, although some may argue, it is due to her selfishness to save her hubby, rather than her MIL. What if?
The lawyer too got aghast at the adamant behaviour of the Bajari, losing hope to take them on bail, asking Puvi to come to him after their talks.
One thing is clear; even if Thulasi supports the bail application, I think, unless Padma withdraws her complaint, the Inspector is tough against both Tamizh & Bajari, as she was already infuriated by their behaviour. If the Inspector examines Charu too in the near future, she will sure to get them all a jail sentence.
Somehow, I hope Puvi tells Tamizh about the atrocities of his own mother, as elaborated to Lavanya & adding to this, if Sudha too (although Tamizh does not like or believe her) explains the foul play of Bajari & Lavanya with Charu, at least he will ponder over it & may realise his folly (although still Tamizh may have a doubt on their veracity). Let us see how the Director moves the story further.

About the Dierctor:
Yesterday almost every one of us cursed the Director for his stupidity in handling the story, without any common sense. I too fed up with him & vowed not to comment thereafter unless there is some sensible movement of the story (although I broke it immediately then!).
But Today, most of us praising him for his twisting & unpredictable nature of his direction. But there are some who still criticise the Director for making thulasi alone always crying & wishing tamizh, charu, lavanya & bajari too weeping!! Some comments I liked are:

I thought Ash & DEVI too may comment about the Director in detail; but it seems in their absorption of the scenes, they missed about it.

lavanya should think, this hit and hospitalisation is a warning signal by God, to treat her pregnancy as God's gift. If she don't come to senses even now, there will be bigger punishment ready for her, around the corner waiting. Already due to bajaari's arrogant behavior, already her mother in law has disowned their family. The only linking factor, which can unite them is the child. So, as long as the child is there, lavanya and bajaari will behave like this only. They think that, because of the child, nitheesh and his parents and will come again begging to lavanya and bajaari, to take lavanya back. Let us wait and see, what nitheesh mother will decide this time. They should apply for divorce for nitheesh.

Mala @ 8:13 PM/3-1-2012 too said about Sudha: "One good thing that happened in this episode is that, Sudha has come to know that Lavanya is also hand in glove with Charu and GW in spoiling Thulasi's life; but will she help Thulasi in this situation, is a big question as she herself doesn't like our heroine because of her dumb behaviour" - a trait in her grasping the situation.

i think the result of the exame will out soon n tu will pass the exame with flying colours . she will get goverment loan to continue her studies for another 3years so she will continue her studiea by her own. at this stage ta will come to know the truth he will bag tu for forgiveness but tu should not forgive him for sometime then she can accept him since her love is true love then charu track will end n start bhuvana story n go on like that(no more idea)

such things can be seen even today, in small cities like Madurai, not in chennai. Paambaatikaarn usually says that type of things, just to keep the crowd in place without moving away. Crowd will eagerly keep on waiting, to see the fight between "keeri" and "paambu".
In a way, Kumaran is also doing the same thing to viewers, like a paambaatikaaran. We are all still sticking to thendral hoping and hoping that, atleast tomorrow or within a week...... thulasi and tamil will live happily and all the wrong people will be punished etc., As long as Kumaran keeps postponing those good scenes, the show will not be over and the crowds will not go.(TRP rating)

Gopanna sir, I didnt comment on the dir's twists because I wasnt impressed...seems to me that the dir is going to weird and impractical lengths to make tulasi look like a beaten underdog...in the process, he has made a wonderful hero into a dumb hero....so these twists are not really twists, rather, they are cringe-worthy annoyances...sorry :)

Hi People, I just understod Sudha today. Sudha is selfish when it comes to herself or others. But when it does not involve her, she plays fair. We have such people around us if you watch carefully.

But whatever said and done, two good things happened today to quench acidifying stomach of all of us: one, Thuls declared the truth to Puvi, MM and lawyer, fantastic...
two, the major thing... Sudha hitting the nail on Lavi. Lavi innum thudikkanum.. Etho kezhavi buththi kettu poi thakidu thaththam panraanaa, intha naai padichum arivu ketta naai, oru ponnoda vazhkaiyila valaiyaaduraale, ivalaiyellam ivaloda maamiyaar urichchu uppukkandam pottaalum thahum...

y this dir does'nt want to show shruthi (thulasi) as a beautiful girl. she looks vry pale n without makeup but still beautiful. just wacth thangam serial all the auntys in the serial are with heavy makeup.in this serial only the heroin no makeup at all. vry poor direction.......
